I swear she said "duck duck" properly today.
I found snail/slug trail on the carpet earlier. Cannot find the slimy thing though. I scrubbed the carpet and sprayed Oust on it out of fear of that stupid snail/rat disease thing that was on TV last week. Sometimes I wonder after my own sanity.
Today we walked for three hours. By the time we got home it was 36 degrees and the poor Monkey did NOT want to be in her pram anymore. Love the new pram though - it's so effortless and lovely to walk with.
Found out I've only done have the paperwork to be registered in NSW, so have to get that sorted. Filled in the online forms just now, but have to send them in certified copies of everything. I so hope this doesn't jeopardise my chances of a job. At least now i'll be properly registered for the right local area though. Must send in some job applications for husband, too, or he'll end up staying home full time and i'll be jealous!
Summer thunderstorm about to begin. Monkey is asleep, I have a cup of tea and a fresh ANZAC bikkie. The world is good.
