7/12/2010 - 7w 6d

8 weeks tomorrow! Monkey had her needles yesterday. She was smiling and cooing at the MCHN, being super cute, then when the needles hit her face crumpled and she screamed. Poor little monkey. I BF'd her right afterwards, which seemed to help. She was up and down all day yesterday, kept waking herself crying. Husband brought home from baby panadol which has helped. She had a good night's sleep last night (was almost TOO sleepy!) and is quite sleepy again today.

We're going into work today to see everyone for the first time. I'm worried about her being exposed to germs, but I can't keep her in cotton wool forever.

Our roof started leaking this morning. Bloody pain in the bum. The gutters leaked into the eaves and all the water has come in through the window in the study. The kitchen roof is seeping too. The plumber will come out later in the week, and Husband seems to have fixed the study leak for now, so fingers crossed it doesn't leak any more. I hate this old house. This is the last time we buy a "renovator's delight"! Our next house will be nice, and somewhat new and need nothing more than a coat of paint.

Bought a Lamaze gym for DD for Christmas yesterday - $50 at Myer. I had to get my sister to pick it up, as we don't have a Myer, but I'm super excited. It was half price!

Finally wrote all the thank you cards yesterday. Next job is the Christmas cards - maybe next week!
