Well, first fathers day was a bit of a bust - simply because we were moving So Husband spent the day lugging boxes all over town. He did enjoy his gifts and cuddles from bub though. And she spent time with her grandparents this last weekend, which is pretty special.
Our new place is so tiny! Compared to our house there is so much less room. We're getting used to it though. And Monkey loves being able to crawl everywhere on the carpet. I feel like the previous tenants didn't clean the carpet, as Monkey gets the filthiest knees, but husband will sort that out tomorrow at the Real Estate. She's in her own room here, and has been going well. i've had to put her in the portacot in our room at the 4am feed the last couple of mornings as she won't resettle in her own cot. But she goes down ok in there at 7pm and then after the 11pm feed.
Been thinking seriously about when/how to wean this last week. We BF most of the time, probably 4-6 feeds a day. She gets one formula the days I'm at work (3 days) and sometimes at the 4am feed if I just can't stand the thought of feeding. I'll leave it until we come back from our OS holiday, as I think she'll need the comfort when flying and out of her regular space. But when we come back, maybe we'll cut back and introduce cows milk.
I've been working on "food" and "finished" as the next signs. I love when she signs milk - it melts my heart! Looking forward to her signing more as I just love knowing what she wants!
"Packed to the Rafters" now - cup of tea is waiting!
