Well, she might not be sleeping, but my little Monkey sure is on the go. She is crawling everywhere. At top speed. All the time. All. The. Time. She loves it! She even loves when we play chasings (me pretending to chase her as she crawls).
Plenty of giggles these days. Still only signing "milk" although we are still working on "food" and "finished". She's waving all the time (even to inanimate objects that aren't going anywhere).
Last weekend she decided for 48 hrs not to have any breastmilk. That wasn't fun. I even called the ABA to see what I could do. She's back on now, although I'm only offering morning and night. Tonight she had one side, then didn't want the other or a bottle. Maybe she really is weaning herself. Not good timing - I'd recently decided we should continue to feed until after getting back from the OS trip :( We'll see though. So long as I don't have engorgement or crazy hormonal stuff as she weans herself, i'm happy for it to happen naturally. Just so long as that's after the trip!
Last weekend she also managed to fall and cut her top gum. I felt so bad. I think her bottom teeth went through her top gum as she landed. Luckily I'd given her panadol for a completely unrelated pain only 20 minutes before!
Her favourite toy this week is a Fisher Price dog that has body parts labelled. It talks, sings, woofs - is generally noisy and kind of annoying. She gets so excited when she sees it though.
On a side note, I am wholly disappointed in the Aldi 70% chocolate. It's no Lindt.
Off to bed - she wakes every 3-4 hours at the moment. Even if we feed her lots and give her formula. Nothing seems to change it. I'm freaking exhausted, but just keep plodding on.
One more thing - she managed to "walk" along behind her push-toy (like a cart) on Monday, 12/9. We got a video of it. Such a clever Monkey! It looks like she has wooden legs and is so adorable.
